Hi there, I’m Meg Cleary, I specialise in working with women at midlife to help them create a healthier lifestyle. I’m here to help you prioritise your health, and find simple ways to make big impacts in your energy, motivation and enjoyment of life.

What is coaching and how can it help you

Coaching is a partnership. You come as the expert in your life. I come with coaching and health expertise and between the pair of us we create a plan and a way forward that suits you.

    • We start by looking at where you are now. How you fill your days, all your responsibilities, what you love and don’t love about your life.
    • Then we look at where you want to be. How you want your days, weeks, months to look and how you want to feel.
    • We take a helicopter view of your life. We look at everything that is getting in the way. All the obstacles that are preventing you from living your best life.
    • We make a plan to eliminate the obstacles, we find a way around them or we decide they aren’t an issue after all.

    Who is Meg Cleary?

    Some parts of being healthy came naturally to me. I was that weird kid who came home from school and was happy to chow down on raw cauliflower and broccoli. I remember in my late 20’s, after one too many carrot juices, my skin turning a soft hue of orange. I’m drawn to healthy food.

    I’ve been active most of my life and equally inactive for parts of it. I’ve fallen off track, tried fads, was always curious about people and personal development, partied hard and attended health retreats.

    I love that we humans are a mixture of good and bad, happy and sad, kind and cruel, saint and sinner and of course healthy and unhealthy. Life and Health Coaching brings all this together.

    My great joy is helping you to finally drop the pressure to do it all perfectly. To find simple ways to maintain and improve your wellbeing so you can travel, create memories with your kids/grandkids, keep learning, prepare for and revel in retirement and keep your independence and Joie de vivre for years to come.

    Along with my life experience, my education aligns with my value of being a life long learner. I have a Masters in Health Science; Bachelor of Applied Science; Certifications in both Life and Health Coaching.

     

    I’m not here to write a diet or exercise plan

    You know what a healthier choice is and how to exercise. My years of helping women focus on their health, have shown me, time and time again, that it’s the getting started and keeping going that are the most difficult for you (and for me!)

    What to expect:

    • 1 on 1 coaching sessions (I recommend minimum of 4);
    • Help to create your own plan that fits in with your life;
    • Help to prioritise your plan;
    • You’ll learn how to be kind to yourself when your plan doesn’t go to plan;
    • You’ll also learn how to drop the rush to get there; and
    • How to keep going when you’re bored, tired or really don’t want to (it’s a human thing.)

    I offer accountability, encouragement and I help you build your confidence and desire to keep going.

    This journey should be fun. You’re creating a lifestyle that’s tailor made for you. A lifestyle that will give you the energy and freedom to tick off all your bucket list items.

    You could absolutely do this on your own

    Check in with yourself:

    Would you make the time to sit down and really look at what’s going on?

    Would you do this through a lens of self compassion?

    Would you take the time to build a solid foundation, so that eating healthy, moving your body, sleeping well, managing stress, having time for fun are a part of your life?

    Would you encourage yourself to keep going and find ways to make it as easy as possible?

    If there’s more chance that you’ll sit on the couch and think about it or tell yourself what you SHOULD be doing – then using a health coach would benefit you.

    Overall

    We look at what you want and why you want it.

    We observe your life. You decide what’s important to you and what you should let go.

    We create a plan. We tweak it, we play with it, we mould it to become part of your lifestyle.

    We stop and evaluate as we go along. Nothing is set in stone. Your plan is a living document, it’s there to serve you and make life easier.

    You’ll learn more about you. You’ll be kinder to you and you’ll love celebrating all the wins on the way.

    Some women are happy with 4 coaching sessions.

    Many feel prepared after 6.

    I’ve also had women keep rebooking up to 24 sessions.

    I charge a flat rate of $100 per session (50 mins + resources).

    I want you to feel happy with your investment and to be a “Hell Yes! Let’s do this!”

    I also offer a no cost intro session up to 30 mins (use any of the buttons to book this chat). I recommend you take up this offer, you can ask questions and get a feel for whether it’s a good fit for you.

    75% of people go on to book in for coaching, but 25% decide its not for them – there is no pressure either way. It’s there to help you make an informed decision.
